Madeline Ripa, M.D. is a cornea and refractive surgery specialist and comprehensive ophthalmologist at Arbor Centers for EyeCare. Her clinical and surgical expertise includes cataract surgery, implantation of advanced technology intraocular lenses, treatment of external eye and corneal disease, corneal transplantation, and laser vision correction including LASIK and PRK. 

Dr. Ripa grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska. She then attended undergraduate and medical school in St. Louis at Saint Louis University. She stayed in St. Louis to complete a transitional year internship at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis and completed a residency in ophthalmology at Loyola University Medical Center, where she was selected as chief resident during her final year. She completed her formal medical training with a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at the Moran Eye Center at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. 

Outside of medicine, she enjoys cooking/baking, traveling, hiking, skiing, and spending time with her friends, family, and cat, Luna.
