Our Specialities

Arbor Centers for EyeCare offers a full range of refractive surgery options that can decrease or eliminate the need for glasses and contact lenses.  Methods include blade-free LASIK (Laser Assisted In Situ Keratomileusis), phakic lens implants and refractive lens exchange.  The professionals at Arbor will help you identify the refractive options and procedures best suited to your needs.

Arbor surgeons utilize the latest technology in laser refractive cataract surgery, and microincision phacoemulsification technology to remove cataracts.  These surgical innovations allow you to quickly return to a normal lifestyle.  New advanced technology lenses, including astigmatism-correcting toric and multi-focal, provide greater freedom from glasses following cataract surgery.

1.DL and LenSx_0_0.jpgCataract surgery is one of the most frequently performed procedures in the world today.  Thanks to advances in technology, there are now many options to choose from when considering cataract surgery.  One of these options is Laser Refractive Cataract Surgery using the new LenSx® Laser. At Arbor Centers for EyeCare, we are proud to be one of the first practices in the nation to    provide this advanced, state-of-the-art technology.

LenSx® Laser technology uses high-resolution scans of your eye to implement a customized cataract procedure tailored toward your unique vision needs.  Once the surgeon plans the operation, the laser uses its blade-free technology to create incisions, reduce astigmatism, and divide the cataract into segments.  The surgeon then removes the cataract segments ultrasonically and inserts a synthetic lens to correct and improve your vision.  Discuss with your doctor what options are best for treating your cataracts.
