LenSx® Laser Refractive Cataract Surgery

Cataract surgery is one of the most frequently performed procedures in the world today. Thanks to advances in technology, there are now many options to choose from when considering cataract surgery. One of these options is Laser Refractive Cataract Surgery using the new LenSx® Laser. At Arbor Centers for EyeCare, we are proud to be one of the first practices in the nation to provide this advanced, state-of-the-art technology.

LenSx® Laser technology uses high-resolution scans of your eye to implement a customized cataract procedure tailored toward your unique vision needs. Once the surgeon plans the operation, the laser uses its blade-free technology to create incisions, reduce astigmatism, and divide the cataract into segments. The surgeon then removes the cataract segments ultrasonically and inserts a synthetic lens to correct and improve your vision. Discuss with your doctor what options are best for treating your cataracts.
