Dr. Alison Gottlieb is an optometrist at Arbor Centers for Eyecare. She grew up in South Carolina, where she attended Clemson University and received her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences with a minor in psychology. She then attended optometry school at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN where she graduated with honors. Following optometry school, Dr. Gottlieb moved to New York City to complete an optometry residency in ocular disease at BronxCare Hospital. Dr. Gottlieb is also a diplomate of the American Academy of Optometry.
Dr. Gottlieb is a recent transplant to Chicago and joined Arbor Centers in 2022. She is passionate about taking care of patients in the Chicago land area and also spends her time providing eye care to children in conjunction with the Chicago Public School system.
Outside of work, Dr. Gottlieb loves listening to live music, attending comedy shows, and trying new restaurants.
