Smriti Jain, OD
Smriti Jain, O.D., is an Optometrist who is delighted to be a member of Chicago Arbor Eye Institute. Dr. Jain spent her early years in India but spent most of her life living in the UK and New Zealand. She completed her Bachelor of Optometry with honors from the University of Auckland, New Zealand and worked as an Optometrist before moving to the USA. Her passion for the field led her to pursue her Doctor of Optometry degree and finish as a Salutatorian and Summa Cum Laude from the esteemed Illinois College of Optometry.
Dr. Jain is passionate about eye care and strives to help her patients preserve their vision. She believes in a holistic approach to taking care of her patients. She loves spending time getting to know and educating her patients for better management of their ocular health. Learning never stops for her, whether it’s in the exam room or outside.
After having two beautiful children, she moved to the suburban life from the bustling city life and loves to spend quality time with her family when not at work.
When she gets some free time to herself, she loves to play tennis, eat glazed donuts, go for long walks, hike, and travel. She enjoys watching horror movies, for which she is always up for recommendations.
