Shelby Rogers, O.D., FAAO

Optometry

Shelby Rogers, O. D., FAAO is an optometrist at Arbor Centers for Eye Care. Dr. Rogers grew up in Naperville and attended Western Illinois University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Biologic Sciences and minors in Mathematics and Chemistry. She then attended optometry school at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN where she graduated with honors. Dr. Rogers then chose to continue her education by completing an optometric residency in ocular disease and low vision at Jesse Brown and Hines VA Hospitals. Dr. Rogers is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.

Dr. Rogers is passionate about helping others, and loves spending time aiding her patients to better understand their own ocular health and vision needs. She strongly believes in the importance of being a life-long learner. She values time spent working with and learning from her patients and colleagues at Arbor Centers for Eye Care.

She currently resides in Chicago and loves being close to her friends and family. Dr. Rogers enjoys all the city has to offer and spends her free time going to museums, concerts and comedy shows. She also loves weekend get-a-ways to explore new cities and visit friends who live far away. Dr. Rogers has gone on volunteer trips to the Yucatán, Mexico and Barranquilla, Colombia to provide eye care to underserved communities.
